Jinesh meaning
Jinesh (जिनेश) is a Jain and Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Jain usage).
An Arhat of the Jains; literally lord of the Jinas
Jinesh (જિનેશ, जिनेश) is Sanskrit jineśa, formed from jina, "victor", and īśa, "lord". Monier-Williams records it as a name for an Arhat of the Jains, and the related jineśvara is also an Arhat and the name of two Jain teachers. In Jainism a Jina, "conqueror", is one who has overcome attachment and greed, and Britannica notes that the title became synonymous with Tirthankara; the religion itself takes its name from the Jinas. It is used mainly in Jain families and also by Hindu families, including in Kerala.
