Jitesh meaning
Jitesh (जितेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of victory (jita, 'won, conquered' + īśa, 'lord')
Also used to mean: victorious
Jitesh (जितेश) joins Sanskrit jita, "won, conquered, subdued", with īśa, "master, lord". Monier-Williams records both words: jita from the Ṛgveda onwards, and īśa as an owner, master or ruler, and a name of Śiva. The compound is a modern name, read from its parts as "lord of what is won", and name lists give "lord of victory" or simply "victorious". Jithesh is the usual spelling in Kerala and Jeetesh in parts of North India. The cricketer Jitesh Sharma is a well-known bearer.
