Vyom meaning
Vyom (व्योम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Heaven, sky, atmosphere, air; space; ether
Vyom (व्योम) is the Sanskrit vyoman, a word used from the Ṛg-veda onward for heaven and the sky. Monier-Williams gives it as heaven, sky, atmosphere and air, and also as space and as ether, the fifth of the classical elements; vyomnā, "by way of the sky", means "through the air". In later texts it is also a name of Prajāpati and of Vishnu. It appears in compound names such as Vyomkesh, "sky-haired", a name of Shiva. Name lists give Vyom as "sky" or "ether", matching the dictionary. It is a short modern name, and Vyomika is used for girls.
