Jayesh meaning
Jayesh (जयेश) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of victory
Jayesh (जयेश) joins two Sanskrit words: jaya, "victory, conquest, triumph", and īśa, "lord, master". By the normal rules of Sanskrit sound-joining, jaya and īśa combine as jayeśa, just as mahā and īśa give maheśa, the source of Mahesh. Monier-Williams records both parts but not the compound, so Jayesh is a later formation from well-attested words. Name lists give it as "lord of victory", which is a fair reading of the parts. Some lists connect it with Vishnu, but no dictionary records it as one of his names, so we do not repeat that claim.
