Kushal meaning
Kushal (कुशल) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, कु, it is a Mithun rashi name (Ardra nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Skilful, clever, able; well, healthy; right, good; welfare
Kushal (कुशल) is the Sanskrit kuśala. Monier-Williams gives three groups of meaning: right, proper, suitable and good; well, healthy, in good condition and prosperous; and fit, competent, able, skilful and clever. As a noun kuśala means welfare, well-being and happiness. Both main senses live on in Hindi, where kushal can describe a skilled worker or ask after someone's health, as in kushal-mangal, "well and happy". Name lists give Kushal as "skilful" or "clever", which the dictionary supports. Kaushal, "skill", is a related name, while Khushal is a separate Persian name meaning "happy".
