Manisha meaning
Manisha (मनीषा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Thought, reflection; wisdom, intelligence; a prayer, a hymn; desire
Manisha (मनीषा) is the Sanskrit manīṣā, a word for the working of the mind. Monier-Williams gives it as "thought, reflection, consideration, wisdom, intelligence, conception, idea", with the Rigvedic phrase paro manīṣayā, "beyond all conception". In the Rigveda it can also mean a "prayer" or "hymn", thought put into words for the gods, and "desire, wish". Indian name lists give Manisha as "wisdom" or "intellect", in line with the dictionary; some add a link to the goddess Saraswati, which the dictionary does not make. A well-known bearer is the actress Manisha Koirala.
