Ikshita meaning
Ikshita (ईक्षिता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, ई, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Seen, beheld, regarded; as a noun, a look or glance
Also used to mean: sight, visible
Ikshita (ईक्षिता) is the feminine of Sanskrit īkṣita, the past participle of īkṣ, "to see, to look". Monier-Williams gives it as seen, beheld or regarded, and as a noun, a look or a glance; the dictionary's supplement adds the sense "approved". Name lists give Ikshita as "sight" or "visible", close to the dictionary, which is about being seen and looked upon. It is a modern name in the same family as Iksha. Some lists link it to Lakshmi, which we could not trace.
