Dakshata meaning
Dakshata (दक्षता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Dexterity, ability
Also used to mean: skill, efficiency
Dakshata (दक्षता) is a Sanskrit abstract noun formed from dakṣa, "able, clever, expert", with the suffix -tā, much like English "-ness". Monier-Williams gives dakṣatā as dexterity and ability. The same root gives the names Daksh and Daksha, and dakṣa itself is related to Latin dexter, "skilful". In Hindi and Marathi dakṣatā is still an everyday word for skill, proficiency or efficiency, so the name is easily understood. Indian name lists give Dakshata as "skill" or "ability", which matches the dictionary exactly.
