Rashmika meaning
Rashmika (रश्मिका) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (modern).
A ray of light (from raśmi, "ray, beam")
Also used to mean: radiance
Rashmika (रश्मिका) is a modern name formed from Sanskrit raśmi with the ending -kā. Monier-Williams gives raśmi two groups of senses: a string, cord or rein, and a ray of light, beam or splendour. The name follows the second, and name lists give it as "ray of light" or "radiance". The dictionary has no separate entry for raśmikā, so the name is best read as a pet form of Rashmi. It is used in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and a well-known bearer is the actor Rashmika Mandanna.
