Mubaraka meaning
Mubaraka (مبارکہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Blessed, abounding in good (feminine of mubārak)
Mubaraka (مبارکہ) is the feminine of the Arabic mubārak, from the root b-r-k. Lane's lexicon defines mubārak as blessed, prospered or gifted with baraka, a blessing from God that lasts and grows, and as abounding in good. The Quran uses the feminine form in the Verse of Light, where the lamp is lit "from a blessed olive tree" (24:35). The same root gives the greeting mubārak, "congratulations", used in Urdu and Hindi at every happy occasion. Name lists give Mubaraka as "blessed", in line with the dictionary.
