Mugdha meaning
Mugdha (मुग्धा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Marathi usage).
Innocent, artless; charming through youth; lovely, tender
Mugdha (मुग्धा) is the feminine of Sanskrit mugdha, from the verb muh, "to be bewildered". In the Vedas the word meant gone astray or perplexed, and later simple or foolish, but in classical poetry it came to mean innocent, artless and charming in a youthful way: lovely, tender and young. Monier-Williams notes that mugdhā is used for a young and beautiful woman and, in Sanskrit poetics, for the youngest type of heroine, shy and new to love. Name lists give innocent or charming, matching the classical sense. In Hindi and Marathi mugdh still means enchanted or captivated.
