Sudarshana meaning
Sudarshana (सुदर्शना) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Good-looking, beautiful, lovely; a handsome woman
Also used to mean: auspicious sight
Sudarshana (सुदर्शना) is the feminine of Sanskrit sudarśana, from su-, "good", and darśana, "sight, seeing". Monier-Williams gives it as "good-looking, beautiful, handsome, lovely" and the feminine as "a handsome woman". It records Sudarshana as the name of a daughter of Duryodhana and as a name of Amaravati, the city of Indra. The masculine form names Vishnu's discus, the Sudarshana Chakra. Name lists give "beautiful" or "auspicious sight", which fits the dictionary.
