Shobhita meaning
Shobhita (शोभिता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Splendid, beautiful; adorned or embellished
Also used to mean: shining
Shobhita (शोभिता) is the feminine of Sanskrit śobhita, from the verb śubh, "to shine, to be beautiful", the same root as Shobha and Shubha. Monier-Williams gives śobhita as splendid and beautiful, and, especially at the end of compounds, as "adorned or embellished by" something, a use found in the Mahābhārata and classical poetry. Name lists give Shobhita as "adorned", "splendid" or "shining", which match the dictionary. The name is used across India, and in Andhra Pradesh it is often spelled Sobhita.
