Shobha meaning
Shobha (शोभा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Splendour, brilliance, lustre, beauty, grace, loveliness
Also used to mean: radiance
Shobha (शोभा) is the Sanskrit word śobhā, from the verb śubh, "to shine, to look beautiful". Monier-Williams gives splendour, brilliance, lustre, beauty, grace and loveliness, already in the Taittirīya Saṃhitā, and also distinguished merit, colour or hue; the old lexicons add wish or desire and turmeric. In Hindi śobhā still means beauty or grace, as when something "adds to the śobhā" of an occasion. Name lists give Shobha as "beauty" or "radiance", the dictionary meaning. The name is used across India; in the South it is often spelled Shoba or Sobha.
