Niranjana meaning
Niranjana (निरंजना) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
The full-moon day; a name of Durgā; (nirañjana) spotless, pure
Niranjana (निरंजना) is the feminine of Sanskrit nirañjana, "unpainted, spotless, pure", from nir-, "without", and añjana, "paint" or "eye-salve". Monier-Williams records the adjective in the Upaniṣads and the Mahābhārata; as a noun it can mean the Supreme Being, and the masculine is a name of Śiva. The feminine nirañjanā is given by the old lexicographers as the day of the full moon and as a name of the goddess Durgā. Name lists give Niranjana as "pure" or "spotless". It is used in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Durga.
