Rubab meaning
Rubab (رباب) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
White clouds; a woman's name; a stringed instrument, the rebab
Also used to mean: blessings
Rubab (رباب) has two senses that share one spelling. Lane's lexicon gives Arabic rabāb as clouds, especially white clouds, notes that it was used as a woman's name, and adds that it is a stringed instrument; Steingass lists rabāb, "a white cloud", and rubāb, the rebab or rebeck. In South Asia the name is pronounced Rubab. It is honoured especially in Shia families as the name of al-Rabāb bint Imraʾ al-Qays, wife of Husayn ibn ʿAlī and mother of Sakina and ʿAlī al-Aṣghar, who was at Karbala. Name lists give "stringed instrument", and some "blessings", which the dictionaries do not support.
