Shubhangi meaning
Shubhangi (शुभांगी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
A handsome woman, one with beautiful limbs; a name of Rati
Also used to mean: beautiful lady, auspicious
Shubhangi (शुभांगी) is the Sanskrit śubhāṅgī, from śubha, "beautiful, auspicious", and aṅga, "limb, body", so "one with beautiful limbs". Monier-Williams gives it as "a handsome woman", and records it as a name of Rati, wife of Kāma, god of love; of the wife of Kubera; of a wife of King Kuru in the Mahābhārata; and of a daughter of Rukmin who married Pradyumna, Krishna's son, in the Harivaṃśa. Name lists give "beautiful lady", the dictionary sense, and sometimes "auspicious", from śubha. The name is used in Maharashtra and North India.
