Siddhi meaning
Siddhi (सिद्धि) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Accomplishment, success, attainment; a name of Durga
Siddhi (सिद्धि) is the Sanskrit siddhi, "accomplishment, success, fulfilment, attainment". Monier-Williams shows how wide the word is, covering healing, proof, readiness, prosperity, good luck and final liberation, as well as skill and capability. In yoga and Tantra the siddhis are the supernatural powers said to come from spiritual practice; eight are usually listed, among them aṇimā, the power of becoming minutely small, and laghimā, lightness. MW also gives Siddhi as a name of Durgā and as one of the wives of Gaṇeśa, which is why she is so often named together with Riddhi. A separate word siddhi means driving off. Name lists give the same meaning, "success" or "accomplishment".
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Durga.
