Siddiqa meaning
Siddiqa (صدیقہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Truthful in the highest degree; one who firmly believes and confirms the truth
Also used to mean: righteous
Siddiqa (صدیقہ) is the feminine of Arabic ṣiddīq, an intensive word from the root ṣ-d-q, "to speak the truth". Lane's lexicon defines ṣiddīq as one who is truthful in a very high degree, or who firmly accepts and confirms the truth. The Quran uses the feminine for Mary, the mother of Jesus: "his mother was a ṣiddīqa" (5:75). Al-Ṣiddīqa is also a title of Aisha, wife of the Prophet, as al-Ṣiddīq was of her father Abu Bakr. Name lists give Siddiqa as "truthful" or "righteous".
