Sirisha meaning
Sirisha (शिरीषा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Telugu usage).
The flower of the śirīṣa tree (Acacia sirissa)
Sirisha (शिरीषा) comes from Sanskrit śirīṣa, which Monier-Williams gives as the tree Acacia sirissa (today Albizia lebbeck, the siris or rain tree) and, in the neuter, its flower. The blossom is a soft, fragrant puff of fine threads, and classical poets use it as an image of delicacy. Name lists give "flower", which matches. The name is used mainly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where it is often spelled Sireesha, and Shirisha is used in Maharashtra.
