Tanvi meaning
Tanvi (तन्वी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
A slender or delicate woman
Tanvi (तन्वी) is the feminine of Sanskrit tanu, "thin, slender, delicate, fine", a word that Monier-Williams compares with Latin tenuis. MW glosses tanvī as "a slender or delicate woman" and cites it from Kālidāsa's Śakuntalā and Mālavikāgnimitra and from Bhartṛhari, so it is a word of classical poetry. MW also lists tanvī for two plants and a metre, and, with a question mark, as a wife of Kṛṣṇa in the Harivaṃśa. Indian name lists give the same sense, slender or delicate, sometimes extended to graceful. It is a girl's name used across India, short and easy to say in most Indian languages.
