Anubha meaning
Anubha (अनुभा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, अ, it is a Mesh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Lightning (aṇubhā); to shine after (anu-bhā)
Also used to mean: sparkling
Anubha (अनुभा) can be read two ways in Sanskrit, and both are about light. Monier-Williams lists aṇubhā, written with a retroflex ṇ, as a word for lightning, and the verb anu-bhā, with the ordinary n of the usual spelling, as "to shine after", a usage that goes back to the Rig Veda. Name lists give Anubha as lightning, sparkling or glory, all close to these senses. It belongs to a family of girls' names built on bhā, "light, lustre", such as Abha, Prabha and Vibha.
