Tooba meaning
Tooba (طوبیٰ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Goodness, a good final state, blessedness; also a tree in Paradise
Tooba (طوبیٰ) is the Arabic ṭūbā, from the root ṭ-y-b, "to be good". Lane's lexicon records several explanations given for it in the Quranic phrase ṭūbā lahum, "ṭūbā is theirs, and a beautiful place of return" (13:29): a good final state, good fortune, God's favour, a pleasant or eternal life, and the name of a tree in Paradise, as the Prophet is reported to have said. The word is also the feminine of aṭyab, "best". Name lists give Tooba as "blessedness" or "a tree in Paradise".
