Unnat meaning
Unnat (उन्नत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, उ, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Raised, elevated, lofty; eminent, noble, great
Also used to mean: progress
Unnat (उन्नत) is the Sanskrit unnata, the past participle of ud-nam, "to rise". Monier-Williams gives it as raised, elevated, high and lofty, and in a figurative sense eminent, sublime, great and noble; it also records Unnata as the name of one of the seven sages under Manu Cākṣuṣa. Name lists give Unnat as "elevated" or "lofty", and some as "progress", which is the sense of the related Hindi word unnati. In Hindi unnat still means advanced or developed. It is a modern-sounding name with an aspirational meaning.
