Yogini meaning
Yogini (योगिनी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, यो, it is a Dhanu rashi name (Mula nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
A female devotee; also a sorceress or fairy; a name of Durga
Yogini (योगिनी) is Sanskrit yoginī, the feminine of yogin, one who practises yoga. Apte gives its senses as a female devotee or ascetic, a sorceress, the female attendants of Śiva or Durgā, and a name of Durgā herself. Monier-Williams lists only the supernatural senses, a fairy or sorceress and the attendants of Durgā, along with Durgā's name, so the plain sense of a woman who practises yoga comes from Apte. In Hindu tradition the yoginīs are also a group of goddesses in Durgā's company. Indian name lists give Yogini as a female yogi or devotee, which follows Apte. It is a girl's name used across India.
