Sadhana meaning
Sadhana (साधना) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, सा, it is a Kumbh rashi name (Shatabhisha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Accomplishment, performance; propitiation, worship, adoration
Also used to mean: spiritual practice, dedication
Sadhana (साधना) is the Sanskrit feminine noun sādhanā, from the verb sādh, "to reach a goal, to accomplish". Monier-Williams gives it two senses: accomplishment or performance, and propitiation, worship or adoration. The closely related neuter word sādhana covers the means of reaching a goal, fulfilment and completion. In Hindi and other Indian languages sādhanā has come to mean disciplined spiritual practice, which is how name lists usually explain it, along with "worship" and "dedication". A well-known bearer is Sadhana Shivdasani, the 1960s Hindi film star.
