Sadiqa meaning
Sadiqa (صادقہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
Truthful, speaking the truth; true, sincere
Sadiqa (صادقہ) is the feminine of Arabic ṣādiq, from the root ṣ-d-q, "to speak the truth". Lane's lexicon defines ṣādiq as one who speaks or tells the truth, truthful in speech, and adds uses such as an attack that is ṣādiq, made in earnest rather than as a show of bravery. The same root gives ṣidq, truth, ṣadīq, a true friend, and ṣiddīq, one who is truthful in the highest degree. Name lists give Sadiqa as "truthful" or "sincere". It is distinct from Sadia, which comes from a different root.
