Warda meaning
Warda (وردہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin.
A rose; a single flower or blossom
Warda (وردہ) is the Arabic warda, "a rose", the single of ward. Lane's lexicon gives ward as the flower or blossom of any tree or plant, but above all the rose, "the well-known red flower which one smells", and adds that its colour and kinds vary between garden, desert and mountain. The single flower is warda, formed with the ending -a. The word may have reached Arabic from Persian. Name lists give Warda as "rose", exactly the dictionary sense.
