Sadhika meaning
Sadhika (साधिका) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, सा, it is a Kumbh rashi name (Shatabhisha nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
A skilful or efficient woman; deep sleep
Also used to mean: achiever, accomplished woman, devotee
Sadhika (साधिका) is the feminine form of Sanskrit sādhaka, from the verb sādh, "to accomplish". Monier-Williams describes sādhaka as effective, efficient and productive of a result, and as a noun an assistant, an adept or a worshipper. For sādhikā itself it gives "a skilful or efficient woman", and the old lexicons add a rarer sense of profound, dreamless sleep. Name lists usually explain Sadhika as "achiever" or "accomplished", which fits the dictionary well, and some add "devotee", following the sense of one who pursues a spiritual practice (sādhanā). The name belongs to the same family as Sadhana.
