Azeema meaning
Azeema (عظیمہ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Great, large; held in high esteem
Also used to mean: magnificent, determined
Azeema (عظیمہ) is the feminine of Azeem, Arabic ʿaẓīm, from the root ʿ-ẓ-m. Lane's lexicon defines ʿaẓīm as great, big or large, and also as one held in high esteem; al-ʿAẓīm, "the Most Great", is one of the names of God, which is why Muslim boys are named Abdul Azeem. The Urdu word azeem means great or grand. Some name lists spell the name عزيمة and give it as "determined" or "resolute": that is a different Arabic word, ʿazīma, so parents should choose the spelling that matches the meaning they want.
