Aseela meaning

Aseela (اصیلہ) is the feminine of Arabic aṣīl, from aṣl, "root, origin". Lane's lexicon defines aṣīl as something with a firm root or foundation, stable and lasting, and, of a person, one of established lineage, noble and generous, or firm of judgment. The same word also means the evening, the hour from the afternoon prayer to sunset, and the feminine aṣīla is used in that sense too. Name lists give Aseela as "noble", "deep-rooted" or "original", in line with the dictionary.
