Parisa meaning
Parisa (پریسا) is a Muslim girl's name of Persian origin.
Fairy-like; from parī, 'fairy', and the suffix -sā, 'like'
Also used to mean: angelic
Parisa (پریسا) is a Persian name made from parī, "fairy", and the suffix -sā, "like". Steingass's dictionary gives parī as winged, a good genius or fairy, and -sā as an ending meaning "resembling", as in ʿambar-sā, "like ambergris". The combined form parīsā is not itself a headword, but the meaning "fairy-like" follows directly from its parts. The peris of Persian legend were beautiful winged spirits. Parisa is a name used in Iran and by some Muslim families in India; Pari is a related name.
