Baishakhi meaning
Baishakhi (वैशाखी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin (Bengali usage).
The full-moon day of the month Vaiśākha; of the month Vaiśākha
Also used to mean: new beginnings, of the month Baishakh
Baishakhi (वैशाखी) is the Bengali form of Sanskrit vaiśākhī. Monier-Williams gives it as the full-moon day of the month Vaiśākha (April–May), and also as a red-flowering plant and the name of a wife of Vasudeva. Baishakh is the first month of the Bengali calendar, and Pohela Baishakh, the Bengali New Year, is celebrated in West Bengal, Bangladesh and Tripura, so the name carries a sense of new beginnings that name lists also mention. The same month gives its name to Baisakhi, the Punjabi harvest festival.
