Balmukund meaning
Balmukund (बालमुकुंद) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Young Mukunda; mukunda is a name of Vishnu
Also used to mean: young krishna
Balmukund (बालमुकुंद) combines Sanskrit bāla, "child, young", with Mukunda. Monier-Williams records Mukunda as a name of Viṣṇu, used in the Mahābhārata and the Bhāgavata Purāṇa, and in devotion it is one of Krishna's best-loved names. Together they give Bāla Mukunda, the infant Krishna, often pictured lying on a banyan leaf with his toe in his mouth. Baby-name lists give the name as "young Krishna", which fits the parts, though the compound itself is not a dictionary headword. Bhai Balmukund, hanged in 1915 in the Delhi conspiracy case, is a well-known bearer.
