Bhamini meaning
Bhamini (भामिनी) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, भा, it is a Dhanu rashi name (Mula nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
A beautiful woman; from bhāmin, shining, radiant, splendid
Bhamini (भामिनी) is the feminine of Sanskrit bhāmin, "shining, radiant, splendid, beautiful", a word found from the Rigveda onwards. Monier-Williams gives bhāminī as "a beautiful woman", a word much used in the Mahabharata and classical poetry. A second, sound-alike bhāminī means a passionate or angry woman, and the dictionary notes that it was often used affectionately, so poets could mean both at once. Baby-name lists give Bhamini as "radiant" or "a beautiful woman", which matches the main sense.
