Dhiren meaning
Dhiren (धीरेन) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Short form of Dhirendra; from dhīra, 'steady, brave; wise'
Also used to mean: strong
Dhiren (धीरेन) is a short form of Dhirendra, and its meaning comes from the Sanskrit dhīra. Monier-Williams gives dhīra as steady, firm, resolute, brave and calm, and a second word dhīra as intelligent and wise. Indian name lists give Dhiren as "strong", "brave" or "steady", which follows the first sense. Shortened forms ending in -en, such as Deven, Hiren and Naren, are used in Gujarat and Bengal, and Dhiren is used in both. No classical dictionary has Dhiren as a word in its own right.
