Ekavali meaning
Ekavali (एकावली) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, ए, it is a Vrishabh rashi name (Krittika nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
A single row or string of pearls, beads or flowers
Ekavali (एकावली) is Sanskrit ekāvalī, made of eka, "one", and āvali, "a row" or "a line". Monier-Williams gives it as a single row or string of pearls, beads or flowers, the simple one-strand necklace of classical jewellery. Sanskrit critics also used the word for a figure of speech in which each sentence takes up something from the one before, like beads on one thread, and Ekāvalī is the title of a work on rhetoric. Name lists give the pearl-necklace meaning. A well-known bearer is the actress Ekavali Khanna.
