Junmoni meaning
Junmoni (जुनमणि) is a Hindu girl's name of Assamese origin.
Compound of Assamese jon, 'the moon', and moni (maṇi), 'jewel'
Junmoni (जुनमणि) is an Assamese girls' name. Its first part is jon or jun, the Assamese word for the moon, which the Candrakanta dictionary records along with jonāk, moonlight. Its second part is moni, from Sanskrit maṇi, "a gem, a jewel". Together they suggest "jewel of the moon" or "moon-bright jewel". Names ending in -moni are typical of Assam. The filmmaker Junmoni Devi Khaund is a bearer of the name.
