Kubra meaning
Kubra (کبریٰ) is a Muslim girl's name of Arabic origin (Urdu usage).
Greatest, highest in rank; eldest (feminine of akbar)
Kubra (کبریٰ) is the Arabic kubrā, the feminine of akbar, from the root k-b-r, "to be great". Lane's lexicon defines akbar as greater or greatest in size, rank or dignity, and also as older or eldest, and gives kubrā as its feminine form. The Quran speaks of "the greatest signs of his Lord" (53:18) with the same word. Kubra is also a title of honour: Khadija, the Prophet's first wife, is often called Khadija al-Kubra. Name lists give the meaning as "great", in line with the dictionary.
