Kuriakose meaning
Kuriakose is a Christian boy's name of Greek origin (via Syriac, Kerala usage).
Belonging to the Lord (Greek kyriakos)
Also used to mean: of the Lord
Kuriakose is the Kerala form of the Syriac name Quryaqos, which comes from Greek Kyriakos, the same name as Latin Cyriacus. Strong's Concordance (G2960) explains kuriakos as "belonging to the Lord", from kurios, "lord"; in the New Testament it describes the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11:20) and the Lord's day (Revelation 1:10). The name came to Kerala with the Syriac liturgy of the Saint Thomas Christians and is used mainly in Kerala. Its best-known bearer is Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the nineteenth-century priest and educator who co-founded the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate and was canonised in 2014.
