Leeladhar meaning
Leeladhar (लीलाधर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin. By its first sound, ली, it is a Mesh rashi name (Bharani nakshatra) in the North Indian table.
Bearer of līlā, divine play and grace (līlā + dhara)
Also used to mean: bearer of divine play, Lord Krishna
Leeladhar (लीलाधर) is formed from Sanskrit līlā and dhara. Monier-Williams gives līlā as play, sport and pastime, and also as grace, charm and elegance; dhara, at the end of a compound, means holding, bearing or possessing. The name therefore means "one who holds līlā". In Vaishnava devotion līlā is the divine play of the god, above all Krishna's childhood in Vrindavan, and name lists give Leeladhar as a name of Krishna or Vishnu. The compound itself is not in the dictionary. It is used mostly in Hindi-speaking families and is also spelled Liladhar.
