Siddalinga meaning
Siddalinga (सिद्धलिंग) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Kannada usage).
The liṅga of the perfected ones; siddha 'perfected, a saint'
Also used to mean: accomplished divine form
Siddalinga (सिद्धलिंग) joins siddha and liṅga. Monier-Williams gives siddha as "accomplished, perfected" and as a holy sage or saint, and liṅga as the emblem in which Shiva is worshipped. The name honours Shiva as revered by the perfected saints. In Karnataka it is linked above all with Tontada Siddalinga, a 15th-century Lingayat saint whose samadhi at Yediyur is a major shrine. Kannada forms include Siddalingaiah and Siddalingappa, and the Kannada poet Siddalingaiah carried the name.
