Sriram meaning
Sriram (श्रीराम) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
The divine Rāma, i.e. Rāmacandra
Also used to mean: lord rama
Sriram (श्रीराम) is Sanskrit śrī-rāma, joining the honorific śrī, "glory, sacred, revered", with Rāma, the hero of the Ramayana and an avatar of Vishnu. Monier-Williams gives it as the divine Rāma, that is Rāmacandra, and notes that worshippers of Vishnu in this avatar use the name itself as a salutation. Name lists give Sriram as "Lord Rama", matching the dictionary. The spelling Sriram is used in south India, and Shriram in the north and west.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Ram.
