Siddhant meaning
Siddhant (सिद्धांत) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Established conclusion; settled doctrine, principle
Siddhant (सिद्धांत) is the Sanskrit siddhānta, from siddha, "accomplished, established", and anta, "end". Monier-Williams gives it first as an established end or final aim, and in logic as the demonstrated conclusion of an argument, reached after the opponent's view has been answered. From there it means any settled doctrine, accepted truth or axiom, and a standard authoritative textbook, especially in astronomy and mathematics, as in the Sūrya-siddhānta. MW also notes a classical group of five such astronomical works. Indian name lists give Siddhant as "principle", which fits the dictionary's sense of a settled truth. It is related to Siddharth and Siddhi through the same root.
