Sreejith meaning
Sreejith (श्रीजित) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Malayalam usage).
One who has won Śrī, fortune or the goddess Lakshmi
Also used to mean: one who won Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu
Sreejith (श्रीजित) is a Malayali name built from śrī and -jit. Monier-Williams gives śrī as radiance and beauty, prosperity and wealth, and as a name of the goddess Lakshmi, and -jit as "winning, acquiring, conquering" at the end of a compound. The name can be read as "one who has won fortune" or, as name lists put it, "one who won Lakshmi", that is Vishnu. The compound itself is modern and not found in the older dictionaries, but its parts are clear. It is a Kerala name, also spelled Srijith.
