Siddheshwar meaning
Siddheshwar (सिद्धेश्वर) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin.
Lord of the siddhas (perfected beings); name of authors, a mountain
Also used to mean: Lord Shiva
Siddheshwar (सिद्धेश्वर) joins siddha, "accomplished, perfected", the word for semi-divine beings who have reached spiritual mastery, with īśvara, "lord". Monier-Williams gives it the same meaning as siddheśa, lord of the Blest, and records it as the name of authors and of a mountain. Name lists give "lord of the siddhas" and link it with Shiva, and many Shiva temples bear the name Siddheshwar. The twelfth-century Kannada saint-poet Siddharama was also called Siddheshwar. It is a traditional name in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
