Siddhraj meaning
Siddhraj (सिद्धराज) is a Hindu boy's name of Sanskrit origin (Gujarati usage).
A king's name (siddha 'accomplished, perfected' + rāja 'king')
Also used to mean: king of accomplishments, lord of perfection
Siddhraj (सिद्धराज) joins Sanskrit siddha, "accomplished, perfected", also the word for perfected semi-divine beings, with rāja, "king". Monier-Williams records Siddharāja as the name of a king in the Kashmiri chronicle Rājataraṅgiṇī, without defining it; read from its parts it means "king of the siddhas" or "accomplished king". The name is best known in Gujarat through Jayasimha Siddharaja, the Chaulukya king of the 11th and 12th centuries who took Siddharaja as his title and after whom the town of Siddhpur is named. Name lists give "king of accomplishments" or "lord of perfection", which fit its parts.
