Nabeel meaning
Nabeel (نبیل) is a Muslim boy's name of Arabic origin.
From nubl: sagacity; generosity, nobility; excellence
Nabeel (نبیل) is the Arabic nabīl, an adjective of the pattern faʿīl from the root n-b-l. Lane does not list nabīl itself, but for the noun nubl he gives sharpness of mind or sagacity, generosity or nobility, and excellence, so the adjective describes a person who has those qualities. The same root also gives nabl, "arrows", and Lane treats the whole root only in the supplement to his dictionary. Name lists today give Nabeel as "noble", which matches the dictionary. The word does not occur in the Quran. Nabil and Nabeel are both spellings of the name, and Nabila, or Nabeela, is the matching girls' name.
