Premlata meaning
Premlata (प्रेमलता) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
Creeper of love (preman, love + latā, creeper)
Also used to mean: vine of love
Premlata (प्रेमलता) joins two Sanskrit words. Preman means love, affection and kindness, and latā is any creeping or twining plant; Monier-Williams notes that poets compared a woman's curving brows, arms and slender form to a creeper, and that latā could mean a slender woman. Together they make "a creeper of love", a classic image of a tender, clinging love. Name lists give "vine of love". A well-known bearer is the mountaineer Premlata Agrawal, the first Indian woman to climb the Seven Summits.
