Sharada meaning
Sharada (शारदा) is a Hindu girl's name of Sanskrit origin.
A name of Sarasvatī and Durgā; a lute; 'autumnal'
Also used to mean: goddess saraswati
Sharada (शारदा) is the feminine of Sanskrit śārada, "produced in autumn, autumnal, mature", from śarad, "autumn". Monier-Williams records śāradā as a kind of vīṇā or lute, as a name of Sarasvatī, goddess of learning, and of Durgā. Śāradā is also the name of an old script of Kashmir, and the Sringeri monastery founded by Śaṅkara is dedicated to the goddess as Śāradāmbā. Name lists give Sharada as "goddess Saraswati", which follows the dictionary. Sarada Devi, wife of the mystic Ramakrishna, revered as the Holy Mother, is its most famous bearer. North Indian families usually write Sharda.
In Hindu tradition this is a name of Saraswati.
